Big Blue Housing is a commercial-grade high-quality, rugged filter housing built to withstand severe conditions. It's exclusive thread design provides superior sealing and greater security against leaks. The replacement filters are compatable with any 4.5" x 20" and 4.5 x 10'' filter cartridge on the market. Sumps are available in both 10" and 20" lengths.

They are usually placed in the main water line entering the house including, but not limited to residential drinking water filtration, food service, and irrigation. This whole house water filter even extends the life of washing machines, water heaters, and other household appliances.
 

Product Details

The big blue housing body is made of reinforced polypropylene for strength and resistance to chemicals, while the black cap is made of high-flow polypropylene for toughness. For better sealing connections to the corresponding pipes, the black cap has 1-inch inlet/outlet brass ports. 
 

Product Details

There is a rubber O-ring on the top of the housing body to ensure a watertight seal. A pressure relief button on the inlet side of the cap releases pressure in the housing for easy changing of filter cartridges. Additionally, it is easy to connect multiple housings in one custom whole house water filtration system to fit your specific needs.

Use it with our sediment water filter cartridge included to remove chlorine, bad tastes, odors, and other particles. This water treatment system treats all of the water entering your home, removing sand, silt, sediment, rust and other particles that can damage your water softener, prematurely 20-inch carbon filters or ruin the plumbing fixtures and valves.
